Battlefield 2042 update 1.58 (patch 8.0.1) is available to download on PS4, PS5, PC, and Xbox consoles. According to the official BF2042 update 1.58 patch notes, the latest update fixes the ribbon display in Shutdown mode, adjusting the MV-38 Condor’s transition speeds, and ensuring the EBLC-Ram no longer submerges on Haven. Apart from this, today’s Battlefield 2042 patch 1.58 (version 1.000.061) also improves readability of the Vehicle Deploy Screen.

UI and Visual Fixes
- Shutdown Mode:
- Resolved an issue where ribbon tiers were incorrectly displayed at the End of Round.
- Vehicle Deploy Screen:
- Enhanced readability by fixing a problem that made it difficult to distinguish vehicle types when all vehicles were deployed.
Vehicle Adjustments
- EBLC-Ram:
- Fixed an issue where the EBLC-Ram would act like a submarine on water surfaces in Haven.
- MV-38 Condor:
- Hover to Flight Transition:
- Speed lowered from 2 to 0.8 seconds.
- Flight to Hover Transition:
- Speed lowered from 4 to 1.5 seconds.
- Hover to Flight Transition:
Weapon and Gadget Fixes
- M5A3 Weapon Charms:
- M5A3 title text no longer displays incorrectly on all Weapon Charms and now accurately indicates they are Universal.
- EMP Grenade:
- Range now properly considered when destroying Gadgets and Vehicles
Previously, a major BF2042 update 5.0 added a new map: Reclaimed, new weapons, new gadgets, new battle pass and much more. Unfortunately, since the last BF2042 patch 4.1, players are facing various disconnection and login issues with the game. Today’s Battlefield 2042 version 1.58 will fix a few of these issues.
