Battlefield 2042 update 1.70 (v8.8) is available to download on PS4, PS5, PC, and Xbox consoles. According to the official BF2042 update 1.000.073 patch notes, the latest update 8.8.0 introduces Secure Boot as a new anti-cheat measure. Apart from this, today’s Battlefield 2042 patch 1.70 (version 1.000.073) also rebalances EMP for gadgets only, and fixes various issues across maps, weapons, vehicles, and UI.
