Baldur’s Gate 3 version 1.005.003 details released for PS5. According to the official BG3 version 1.005.003 patch notes, the latest update adds numerous bug fixes, including animation glitches, map issues, and perk adjustments, improves game stability. Apart from this, Baldur’s Gate 3 update 1.005.003 also resolves audio and character-related problems, such as theme music and animation clipping.
Previously, a big BG3 update 1 added the bard class, playable gnomes, Swarm AI, and countless other improvements and fixes. Unfortunately, since the last update, players are facing various issues with the game. Today’s BG3 update 1.005.003 will fix a few of these issues.

BG3 Version 1.005.003 Patch Notes
- Fixed a possible crash when leaving Act II.
- Fixed an exploit that let you buy out a trader with only 1 gold and a container.
- Fixed the total price on tooltips within containers not updating when the contents change while trading.
- Fixed balancing offers when bartering not working properly when there is a container in the offer with gold in it.
- Fixed empty bags sold to vendors costing the equivalent of the items that were stored in that bag.
- Improved performance in Baldur’s Gate after peacefully resolving the Knights of the Shield situation on PS5.

- Currency previews in The Rift will no longer stack, as this was causing a decrease in game performance.
Audio
- The Modern Tales’ menu theme will no longer play when Meg is equipped with the Movie Night Outfit.
Characters
- The Xenomorph no longer experiences animation stutter when entering a tunnel.
- The Xenomorph is no longer able to perform a Tail Attack against Survivors escaping through the Exit Gate.
- Survivors will now correctly display an animation interruption when interacting with the Flame Turret.
- The Xenomorph can no longer see Generators, Lockers, and Survivors during transitions in and out of tunnels.
- The Oni Outfit “The Minotaur” no longer has missing horns and teeth during a Mori.
- When a Survivor sabotages a Hook, their head will no longer clip inside the Hook.
- An issue where Ellen Ripley’s Very Rare ‘Out Of Uniform’ t-shirt clipped through her arm during certain animations has been resolved.
- An issue where The Trickster’s arm would clip into the camera with certain Cosmetics after a Survivor escapes from his grasp has been fixed.
- An issue with The Cenobite Add-On “Greasy Black Lens,” which failed to reveal the Survivor hit by a possessed chain, has been resolved.
- An issue with The Doctor madness effect where some of the Doctor illusions would sometimes spawn in the floor or outside of the levels has been fixed.
- An issue where The Xenomorph was able to see Survivors in Tunnels on the 2nd floor if they were standing in the path has been addressed.
- An issue where The Xenomorph’s tail was missing while in Crawler Mode has been fixed.
Environment/Maps
- An issue in Haddonfield where an invisible collision was blocking players on the roof of the house has been resolved.
- An issue in the Nostromo Wreckage map where traps would be hidden under assets has been fixed.
- An issue where Victor could jump on the table in the Nostromo has been fixed.
- Alignment issues with survivor animation vaulting have been corrected.
- An issue where a placeholder tile would spawn in Eyrie of Crows has been fixed.
- An issue with vaulting in Junkyard that affected the animation of female characters has been resolved.
- An issue where a branch was floating over the Skull Merchant base has been addressed.
- An issue where small branches were blocking killers with chainsaws in Eyrie of Crows has been fixed.
- An issue where the killer could not grab a survivor off a generator in Thompson’s House map has been resolved.
- An issue where Killers could not grab a survivor from a generator in Badham Preschool map has been fixed.
- An issue in the Nostromo Wreckage map where invisible collision would block characters has been fixed.
- An issue in Dead Dawg Saloon where an entrance was not blocked as intended has been addressed.
- An issue where the lighting on Haddonfield and in Nostromo Wreckage would change after The Xenomorph exited the Tunnels has been fixed.
- An issue where the Killer was unable to pick up Survivors in the dying state on the Temple of Purgation has been resolved, and the map has been re-enabled into rotation.
Perks
- Footsteps will no longer be silent when walking while Light-Footed is equipped.
- Blood Rush will no longer be active after being downed by the Killer.
- Blast Mine can no longer be placed on a Generator blocked by Repressed Alliance.
UI
- An issue where the match result appeared when spectating the last survivor during Memento Mori has been fixed.
- The Bot Loadout Menu will no longer display an incorrect page of items when quickly changing pages.
- The transparency texture for locked tooltips has been fixed.
Misc
- The Steam Pipes reset progress bar will now correctly show a yellow color when used by multiple Survivors.
- Players will now correctly be able to advance progress with The Onryo’s “Viral Video” achievement.
- Localization issues with certain Cosmetics have been fixed.
- An issue where The Xenomorph’s Tunnels may lose lighting and ambiance when the game is paused or the Graphic Settings are changed has been addressed.
