Atomfall update 1.02 (day 1 patch) available to download on PS4, Xbox and PC. According to the official Atomfall patch notes, the latest update resolves AI and quest progression issues, improves visibility in dark areas, and fixes key UI and translation errors. Apart from this, Atomfall patch 1.02 also includes gameplay performance and stability improvements.

  • Addressed throwable weapons clipping through metal barricades.

  • Improved visibility of feral spit attacks by fixing missing visual effects (PFX).

  • Fixed alarm audio persisting after exfil.

  • Resolved issue where using tools nearby could turn multiple characters hostile.

  • Saves from different game versions can now be loaded.

  • Improved AI population behavior when loading autosaves.

  • Corrected player ammo and trader material counts after bartering.

  • Fixed an issue preventing the outro from triggering after closing the backpack before conversation end.

Casterfell Woods

  • Reduced character clipping when descending from platforms near wooden logs.

  • Improved takedown animation while crouching.

  • Fixed collision issue near the broken building in the Old Watermill.

  • Enhanced lighting to improve visibility of Mother Jago’s book in the castle.

  • Resolved progression issue when interacting with Mother Jago after collecting the Growth Serum and Herbalism book.

  • Fixed issue where Druids and Mother Jago became hostile upon entering Castle Ruins for exfil after prior antagonization.

Skethermoor

  • Fixed a crash on PS4 occurring when idling in Skethermoor for too long.

Interchange

  • Fixed missing power-on and power-up sounds in the Radio Tower and Robotics Lab.

  • Addressed game crashing issues.
  • Addressed some glitches.
  • General stability enhancements for smoother gameplay.
  • Adjustments made to improve overall game mechanics.
  • Various minor and major bug fixes.

Recently, the game was released with positive reviews. Unfortunately, since the release, players have been experiencing several issues. Atomfall update 1.02 will fix a few of these issues. The remaining issues will be addressed in the upcoming Atomfall update 1.03.
