Astroneer update 1.78 is available now on PS4, Steam, Xbox, and PC. According to the official Astroneer 1.78 patch notes, the latest update adds Megatech customization options, allowing players to adjust recipes, mechanics, and environmental settings. Megastructure construction costs were reduced for better balance, especially for the Biodome, Intermodal Terminal, and Museum. Apart from this, Astroneer version 1.78 also fixes numerous bugs affecting Megastructures, multiplayer, UI, and gameplay systems issues.

Previously, a big Astroneer update 1.49 the Custom Games update allows players to create unique game configurations with customizable settings, including starting planet, respawns, power and oxygen settings, research modifiers, and planet generation.
