ARK Survival Evolved update 2.96 is rolling out on PS4, PC and Xbox One(959.13). According to the official ARK Survival Evolved 2.96 patch notes, the latest update resolves multiple client crashes and other issues. Apart from this, today’s ARK Survival Evolved version 2.96 also addressed a bug where characters get stuck when transitioning between different controlled characters using the noglin.
Previously, a big Ark update 2.87 added a free Lost Island expansion pack and Winter Wonderland event to the game Unfortunately, since the last patch, players are experiencing several issues with the game.
Today’s ARK Survival Evolved patch 2.96 has addressed a few of these errors.

ARK Survival Evolved Version 2.96 Patch Notes
- Dismounting a Rhyniognatha will now remember your previous camera view instead of always going to TPV
- Added additional locations on the Rhyniognatha that enemy turrets can aim for when carrying a character
- Rhyniognatha’s Resin Bomb direct hits now correctly deal their intended damage of 300
- Reduced Rhyniognatha’s Health Scaling by approximately 30%
- Adjusted the scaling of some UI elements to prevent them getting cut off at larger resolutions

- Fixed multiple client crashes
- She Who Waits Explorer Note Voiceovers
- Fixed poop not going into player hotbars when handcuffed
- Fixes for characters getting stuck when transitioning between different controlled characters using the noglin
- Increase tribe message replication length limit from 200 to 300
- Spectators in admin mode can now see all local chat
- Fix for inconsistent radial wheel selections
- Fix for player names not showing appropriate team color
Added cheats:
- c – all this does is make it so you don’t have to type out “cheat” completely
- p [index] – This picks and executes a cheat from the PreloadedCheats list
- h [index] – This picks and executes a cheat from your cheat history (most recent 50 cheats)
