Ark Survival Evolved Update 2.90 Patch Notes for PS4 & Xbox One

A new Ark Survival Evolved update 2.90 is rolling out on PS4 and Xbox One. According to the official ARK Survival Evolved 2.90 patch notes, the latest update resolves issues related to crashes and exploits. Apart from this, Ark version 2.90 also includes performance improvements.

Previously, a major Ark Fjordur update added a cold and hostile Norse-inspired archipelago to the latest map, featuring four new creatures. Recently, a hotfix addressed game save issues on PlayStation. Unfortunately, some players are still facing issues with the game. Today’s ARK Survival Evolved patch 2.90 will fix a few of these issues.

Ark PS4 Update 2.90 Patch Notes – January 5, 2022

  • Fixed dinos teleporting to the incorrect location after SE boss fight in Single Player (Teleport location: -302537 -44644 53371)

The following changes were added previously.

  • Added element reward to mini-bosses on fjordur
  • Added other map learnable engrams to Fjordur (now matches Lost Island)
  • Fixed several map issues on Fjordur
  • Fixed gamepad issues while mounted
  • Fixed Desmodus issues while using Simplified Chinese
  • Fixed an exploit
  • Fixed a crash
  • Fixed gamepad issues while mounted
  • Addressed Desmodus issues while using Simplified Chinese
  • Fixed an exploit
  • Fixed a crash
  • Fixed a cooldown on defecation
  • Server administrators can enable and disable the biome teleport in Fjordur with the server config option:
    UseFjordurTraversalBuff=true/false
