ARK Survival Ascended Save Location
When you first launch ARK Survival Ascended on Steam, it generates a folder to store your save games here:C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\YOURSTEAMID\2399830\remote\ARK Survival Ascended
Your save files are stored as .ark files in this directory. For example:
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\123456789\2399830\remote\ARK Survival Ascended\save1.ark
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\123456789\2399830\remote\ARK Survival Ascended\save2.ark
These .ark files contain all your ARK Survival Ascended progression, tames, bases, and stats.
Finding the ARK Survival Ascended Save Files
Since ARK Survival Ascended doesn’t use Steam Cloud, the default ARK Survival Ascended save location is in your Steam userdata folder as shown above.
The Steam ID in the path is your unique 64-bit Steam ID. You can find this on your Steam profile.
