Ark Survival Ascended (ASA) Update 1.085.012 Patch Notes (v85.12)

Ark Survival Ascended update 1.085.012 (v84.12) is available to download on PS5, PC and Xbox. According to the official Ark Ascended 1.085.012 patch notes, the latest update focuses on controller usability, stability on PS5, and smoother performance on the Lost Colony map. Additionally, the latest Ark Ascended patch 1.085.012 also remove the timers in select modes.

Bug Fixes

• Fix for mod page image view not backing out when pressing the back button on the controller.
• Adjusted sticky speed for virtual cursor when using a controller.
• Fix for PS5 saying you don’t have space for mods after an update.
• Lost Colony Outposts and boss fight no longer have a timer in Single Player or non-Dedicated.
• Console Performance Optimization – Spotlights no longer cast shadows on Lost Colony map.

Fixes

• Fixed a hitch when opening inventory while you have many cosmetics.
• Fixed a hitch when destroying a structure attached to an excessive number of other structures.
• Fixed Cryopoding resetting the cooldown for using Box o’ Chocolates on the dino.
• Fixed an issue where UI and player character could flicker.
• Grand Tortugar eggs can now be used in kibble recipes.
• Fixed UI Item text appearing in the wrong place when the inventory is opened.
• Rockwell fight:
  • Reapers won’t aggro on Rockwell anymore (good boys). :
  • Killing Rockwell now gives a chibi.
• Lost colony boss fight engrams are now in city loot crates.
• Fixed broken textures on the Lost Shirt and Lost Poncho.
• Fixed Corrupted creatures sometimes stopping during OSDs.

Previously, a big ASA update 1.083.003 introduced Pyranthos, new bosses, numerous creatures, a weather and lighting overhaul, fresh caves, and major OSD rebalancing.. Unfortunately, since the last major patch, players have been experiencing several issues and error codes. Today’s Ark Ascended version 1.085.012 will fix a few of these errors.
