Patch 71.6 Summary

Helicoprion

• Added prehistoric predator Helicoprion from ARK Additions.

• Survivors can encounter and tame the buzz-saw-jawed creature.

Armadoggo Rucksack

• Temporarily disabled Keep Inventory functionality due to bug.

Map Fixes

Ragnarok

• Fixed puzzle door open/close state display.

• Fixed puzzle cave not killing dinos in sacrifice pit.

Extinction

• Fixed night-time mesh flickering.

• [Xbox] Fixed texture flickering in Sludge Basin.

General Fixes

• Fixed stutter when riding as passenger on Managarmr.

• Fixed stutter in Shastasaurus swim animation.

• Fixed companions being deleted if whistled at moment of death.

• Modules can now be painted.

• Fixed central module collision.

• Prevented rope ladders from being placed directly on ground.

• Fixed teleporting when dismounting Battlerig on non-dedicated servers.

Previously, a big ASA update 1.063.002 added 100 bug fixes for creatures, BattleRig, and Astraeos DLC, alongside performance optimizations and new QoL features. Unfortunately, since the last major patch, players have been experiencing several issues and error codes. Today’s Ark Ascended patch 1.071.006 will fix a few of these errors.
