Ark Survival Ascended update 1.054.022 (v54.22) is available to download on PS5, PC, and Xbox. According to the official Ark Ascended 1.054.022 patch notes, the latest update improves game stability with crash fixes, tweaks Tinkering Desk stacking, and fixes several visual bugs including issues with Wind Turbines and Photo Mode. Today’s Ark Survival Ascended PS5 version 1.054.022 also includes gameplay improvements include better cosmetic functionality and Ichthyornis bringing ‘golden’ fish in Single Player mode.
Previously, a big ASA update 1.053.001 added introduces a “View Traits” button, multiple fixes to the Aberration Rockwell bossfight, and various other bugs across maps and creatures. Unfortunately, since the last major patch, players have been experiencing several issues and error codes. Today’s Ark Ascended patch 1.054.022 will fix a few of these errors.

General Fixes
Crash Fixes
- Several crash issues have been resolved to improve stability.
Tinkering Desk
- Max stack size: Tinkering Desks can now be stacked up to 5.
- Stored items: No changes were made to the amount of items stored in the desk.
Visual and Gameplay Fixes
- Wind Turbines: Corrected an issue where they appeared powered when they were not.
- Cosmo in Photo Mode: Players can no longer swing with Cosmo while in Photo Mode.
- Water effect: Fixed water post-process effects appearing when using Photo Mode in a vacuum cube.
- Cosmo Eggs: Eggs now display correctly when placed in the Gigantoraptor saddle.
- Ichthyornis: Fixed Ichthyornis bringing ‘golden’ fish in Single Player mode.

Visual and Graphics
- Supply crates: Beams are now visible on low graphics settings.
- DLSS Quality Settings: Fixed an issue where DLSS quality wasn’t saving correctly in other languages.
Item and Cosmetic Fixes
- Custom Cosmetics: Fixed an issue where dynamically downloaded cosmetics wouldn’t appear until relogging.
- Chainsaws: Prevented chainsaws from launching small or medium tames and players.
Combat Fixes
- Tek Railgun: Resolved inconsistent damage from the Tek Railgun.
- Overseer Fight: Fixed the timer not displaying correctly during the fight.
Miscellaneous Fixes
- Basilisk/Karkinos Stats: Fixed client-side issue where Basilisk and Karkinos gained levels in the oxygen stat.
- Ravager Saddle: Corrected rider positioning on Decorative Ravager Saddle.
