According to the official Ark Ascended 1.052.013 patch notes, the latest update focuses on fixing bugs like mismatched cinematic audio and out-of-bounds crashes. Today’s Ark Survival Ascended PS5 version 1.052.013 also adds support for Genescanner in all languages, and enables Capsule Indirect shadows on all maps.

Bug Fixes
- Audio Issues: Resolved an issue where cinematics had mismatched audio.
- Out-of-Bounds Crash: Fixed a crash when players died outside map bounds using the climbing pick.
- Genescanner Fix: Genescanner now works properly in languages other than English.
- Alpha Karkinos: No longer have wild babies spawning incorrectly.
- Tinkering Desk Blueprints: Blueprints now correctly respect BP caps, with a retroactive fix applied.
Gameplay Adjustments
- V-Sync Default: V-Sync is now enabled by default for better Frame Interpolation. This can be turned off in video settings.
- Capsule Indirect Shadows: Shadows now function correctly across all maps.
- Lumen Lighting Performance: Performance improvements to Lumen lighting.
Other Fixes
- Infinite Stone Arrows: Resolved an exploit allowing players to get infinite stone arrows from Cosmo.
