Respawn has released a new Apex update 2.96 for PS4, PC, and Xbox One. According to the official Apex 2.96 patch notes, the latest update rebalances key weapons and legends for fairer combat. Peacekeeper’s fire rate slows with a reduced magazine, while Alter’s Void Nexus gains new limits. Seer’s ultimate loses ADS hover but gains a scan feature. Today’s Apex version 2.96 also includes gameplay improvements and stability fixes.

Increased rechamber time between shots for slower firing pace.

Previously, Apex Legends update 2.87 added Arenas: Duels, a limited-time 1v1 mode focused on raw gunplay with no abilities until July 15. Unfortunately, since the last Apex patch 2.67, players are still experiencing a number of issues with the game. Today’s Apex patch 2.96 will fix a few of these issues.
