Respawn has released a new Apex Legends update 2.88 for PS4, PC, and Xbox One. According to the official Apex 2.88 patch notes, the latest update improves performance and visual consistency by fixing CPU spikes, FPS drops on Xbox, and UI bugs like the Founder’s badge lock. Today’s Apex Legends version 2.88 also improves gameplay fairness in Arenas, resolves key ability and visual bugs for Wattson and Mirage.

Previously, Apex Legends update 2.87 added Arenas: Duels, a limited-time 1v1 mode focused on raw gunplay with no abilities until July 15. Unfortunately, since the last Apex patch 2.67, players are still experiencing a number of issues with the game. Today’s Apex Legends patch 2.88 will fix a few of these issues.
