Respawn has released a new Apex update 2.74 for PS4, PC, and Xbox One. According to the official Apex 2.74 patch notes, the latest update nerfed Newcastle’s Revive and Mobile Shields to improve balance, while Lifeline sees adjustments to D.O.C. cooldown and revive speed for consistency. Today’s Apex version 2.74 also stability and crash fixes.

Newcastle Adjustments
- Revive Shield
- HP reduced across all tiers:
- White: 250 HP
- Blue: 400 HP
- Purple: 600 HP
- HP reduced across all tiers:
- Mobile Shield
- Now destructible with 750 HP.
- Cooldown increased to 20 seconds.
- Swift Shield Upgrade reduces cooldown to 12 seconds.
Lifeline Adjustments
- D.O.C. Halo
- Cooldown increased to 180 seconds.
- Hands-Free D.O.C. Revive
- Revive speed now matches that of non-support Legends.
Bug Fixes and Improvements
- Resolved various game crashing issues.
- Improved gameplay performance and stability.
- Minor adjustments and tweaks to enhance the overall experience.
Upcoming Fixes
- Issue with being stuck at level 39 or not receiving the final reward.
- [Akimbo]: Low Held XP in match summary.
- Friends list displaying the user as their own friend.
- [DirectX]: Insufficient shader loading causing stuttering or missing textures/models at boot.
Previously, Apex Legends update 2.66 added a new Limited-Time Mode (LTM), Knockout, along with 36 event-themed items, including a Mythic melee item. Unfortunately, since the last Apex patch 2.67, players are still experiencing a number of issues with the game. Today’s Apex patch 2.74 will fix a few of these issues.
