Respawn has released a new Apex update 2.72 for PS4, PC and Xbox consoles. According to the official Apex 2.72 patch notes, the latest update addresses weapon mastery requirements, Lifeline’s tactical, Loot Bin Resets, scaling on ultrawide monitors, and reenabled Combat Dummies. Apart from this, today’s Apex version 2.72 also includes stability fixes.

Bug Fixes
Weapon Mastery and Challenges
- Havoc & Devotion: Turbocharger is no longer required to complete Weapon Mastery Challenges.
Loot and Inventory
- Loot Bin Resets: Unused loot items now eject properly from Loot Bins.
Legends
- Lifeline: Resolved issues with tactical ability assignments, ensuring correct teammate assignment.
- Wind Effects: Players now hear accurate wind rushing sounds when dropping in as Lifeline or Valkyrie.
Firing Range
- Hard Combat Dummies: Reenabled after fixing a crash affecting the Firing Range.
Visuals and UI
- Ultrawide Monitors: Title screen now scales correctly for ultrawide displays.
Rift Relics
- Void Reflex Boost Kit: Various stability fixes for Rift Relics, addressing crashes related to the Void Reflex Boost Kit.
Known Issues
- Shield Damage Visual Clutter: A fix for shield damage clutter on PC is scheduled for tomorrow, with a console update to follow.
Previously, Apex Legends update 2.66 added a new Limited-Time Mode (LTM), Knockout, along with 36 event-themed items, including a Mythic melee item. Unfortunately, since the last Apex patch 2.67, players are still experiencing a number of issues with the game. Today’s Apex patch 2.72 will fix a few of these issues.
