Apex update 2.74 is available to download on PS4, PC, Switch, and Xbox. According to the official Apex 2.74 patch notes, the latest update resolves crash issues. Apart from this, today’s Apex version 2.74 also includes general gameplay performance and stability improvements.

Newcastle Adjustments
- Revive Shield
- HP reduced across all tiers:
- White: 250 HP
- Blue: 400 HP
- Purple: 600 HP
- HP reduced across all tiers:
- Mobile Shield
- Now destructible with 750 HP.
- Cooldown increased to 20 seconds.
- Swift Shield Upgrade reduces cooldown to 12 seconds.
Lifeline Adjustments
- D.O.C. Halo
- Cooldown increased to 180 seconds.
- Hands-Free D.O.C. Revive
- Revive speed now matches that of non-support Legends.
The following changes were added previously.
- Fixed missing sound effects for Shield + Syringe interaction.
- Resolved blank images on the Battle Pass screen.
- Addressed flickering during Legend select in Control and Gun Run.
- Performance improvement for PS5 in Performance Mode.
- Battle Pass now purchasable on Switch.
- Crash fix when scrolling between challenge blocks and rerolling Daily Challenges.
Input and Camera Issues
- [PC] Loss of input after tabbing out and back in has been resolved.
- [PC] Players losing mouse input when entering a game has been fixed.
- [PC] Mouse not tracking camera movement issue fixed.
Gameplay
- R-99 is now available as ground loot.
- Ballistic’s abilities: Fixed a crash occurring when using these abilities.
UI and Training
- Training button: Resolved an issue where the “Training” button was not functioning properly for new players.
Map and UI
- [Map] Object icons will now correctly disappear after being interacted with.
Challenges
- [Challenge] “Revive Squadmates 30 Times” tagged NBR is now possible to complete.
Console
- Premium+ pricing: Visual error showing full rate for players with Premium Battle Pass has been corrected. Players will be charged the correct discounted rate.
Known Issues
- [E-District] Resort textures may occasionally flash.
- [Bangalore/Akimbo] Tac usage while weapons are holstered can prevent shooting.
- [Revival] Requeue might display “party not ready” incorrectly.
Previously, Apex update 2.35 added new features and changes to the game. Recently, Apex version 2.36 was also released with minor tweaks. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing a number of issues with the game. Today’s Apex patch 2.74 will fix a few of these issues.
