Apex Update 2.49 Patch Notes (Version 1.000.063)

Apex update 2.49 is available on PS4, PS5(version 1.000.063), PC, and Xbox. According to the official Apex 2.49 patch notes, the latest update fixes FPS stutters associated with certain gaming mice, a fine-tuning of Performance Mode on PS5 to minimize resolution drops, and adjustments to Legend skins to improve aim visibility. Apart from this, today’s Apex version 2.49 also addresses configuration and melee attack exploits.

Previously, Apex update 2.35 added new features and changes to the game. Recently, Apex version 2.36 was also released with minor tweaks. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing a number of issues with the game. Today’s Apex update 1.000.063 will fix a few of these issues.

  • Improved memory performance with the launch of Breakout. The team has worked to optimize how Legend skins are loaded, resulting in less memory usage.
  • Decreasing the amount of FPS stutters when using certain gaming mice
  • Fine-tuning Performance Mode on PS5 so that its resolution drops less often
  • Various fixes for Legend skins that obscure vision when aiming or were missing props during menu animations
  • Evo harvesters no longer spawn too far from the playable portions of the map
  • Removed the pesky pixel that’s been floating at the bottom of the screen
  • Additional fixes for config and melee attack exploits

Recently Changes

  • Ash ultimate cooldown -> back to 120 seconds
  • Gibraltar’s tactical throw range -> back to pre-Season 20 value
  • Daily Challenges not updating for some players.
