Respawn has released a new Apex Legends version 2.51 on PS4, PS5, PC, and Xbox. According to the official Apex Legends 2.51 patch notes, the latest update adds tweaks and changes. Apart from this, today’s Apex Legends update 2.51 also includes stability fixes.
Previously, Apex Legends update 2.17 added new features and changes to the game. Recently, Apex version 2.18 and Apex version 2.20 was also released with minor tweaks. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing a number of issues with the game. Today’s Apex Legends patch 2.51 will fix a few of these issues.

- [Ranked] Badges for previous seasons were reset to Bronze.
- Ranked LP progress bar now reappears in match summaries.
- Abilities of players joining ongoing Mixtape matches are no longer disabled.
- Revenant’s Forged Shadows ultimate timer issue has been fixed.
- Added general stability fixes.
- Added performance improvements.
- Addressed rare game crashing bugs.

- [Mad Maggie] Ultimate not impacting some pass/tacs/ults
- Playing at 165+ FPS may cause stuttering during some gameplay scenarios

Threat Level Event
The Threat Level event is a limited-time event in Apex Legends that runs from May 23 to June 6, 2023. The event features a new limited-time mode, Control, as well as limited-time cosmetics and rewards.
Community Voted LTM: Control
The community voted to have Control be the limited-time mode for the Threat Level event. Control is a 9v9 mode where teams battle to control three points on the map. The team with the most points at the end of the match wins.
Threat Level Event Items
There are a variety of limited-time cosmetics available during the Threat Level event. These include Legendary skins for Wraith, Ash, Pathfinder, and more. There are also weapon skins, banners, and more.
Reward Tracker
There is a reward tracker for the Threat Level event. You can earn points by completing challenges during the event. You can earn up to 1,600 points per day. As you earn points, you will unlock rewards, including cosmetics, crafting materials, and Apex Packs.
Store Tab
There are also limited-time offers available in the Store tab during the Threat Level event. These include bundles that contain Legendary skins, weapon skins, and more.
Bug Fixes
- Wraith can no longer use weapons while knocked.
- Brightness on World’s Edge has been adjusted.
- Seer can no longer track through Dark Veil with his ultimate (the team is reviewing other abilities as well).
