Respawn has released a new Apex update 1.96 on PS4, PC, and Xbox One players. According to the official Apex 1.96 patch notes, the latest hotfix addressed the weapons related exploit. Apart from this, today’s Apex version 1.96 also addressed the MIL-SPEC Bangalore skin bug.
Previously, a big update added the Aftermarket Collection Event to the game. The event features a new LTM called flashpoint, tons of rewards, a new Caustic Heirloom, and more.
Unfortunately, since the last patch, players are experiencing a number of issues with the game. Today’s Apex version 1.96 will fix a few of these issues.

Apex Legends update 1.96 patch notes
- Addressed an issue related to echo-y/strange audio unless Console audio was set to “Stereo Uncompressed”
- Fixed a bug where Predator Ranks getting incorrect rewards.
- Fixd an issue where the Teleporter for teleporting squadmates inside the IMC Armory was sometimes not working.
- Addressed a bug where Newcastle’s UI for knockdown shield value was incorrect
- Added stability fixes.
- Added performance improvements.
- Other minor under the hood fixes.
The follow issues were fixed previously.
- Addressed the Rampage and Sentinel weapons-related exploit.
- Addressed an issue with charging weapons
- Addressed the MIL-SPEC Bangalore skin bug which crashes the game at the character select screen if you have it equipped and select Bangalore.
- Decreased the damage per bullet down from 28 -> 26 for the Rampage and increased the thermite consumption per shot in its charged state.
- Re-enabling the MIL-SPEC skin, Rampage, and Sentinel in-game
