Respawn has released a new Apex Legends update 3.01 for PS4, PC, and Xbox One. According to the official Apex 3.01 patch notes, the latest update improves Crypto’s drone behavior, Octane’s Stim Surge alignment, and Trident interactions. Today’s Apex Legends version 3.01 also includes general stability fixes and UI improvements.

Crypto Updates

Drone no longer appears briefly when deployed on ziplines, balloons, or Evac Towers.

Correct ultimate icon now shows in drone view when using the Power Coupling upgrade.

Hands no longer remain stuck on-screen after Caustic trap damage while in drone view.

Drone entry animation can no longer be spammed.

Ultimate now charges correctly from scanning enemies, including continuous scans.
Octane Adjustments

Stim Surge animation now ends in sync with its effects, including low-health cases with the Daredevil upgrade.

Animation properly aligns when taking ring damage.

Base Stim model no longer overlaps with the Stim Surge syringe.

Tactical spam on ziplines or ziprails with akimbo weapons is no longer possible.

Removed unintended green bar during two-handed actions with Stim Surge active.

Correct Stim Surge model now displays during climbs, and players are no longer locked out of activation.
Trident Fixes

Increased volume of approaching Trident for clearer audio awareness.

Caustic traps can no longer attach to the Trident.

Valkyrie no longer becomes stuck in ultimate animation when interrupted by a Trident.
New Player Pass

Level-up animation now displays the correct level.

Post-game progress screen no longer shows outdated challenges.

Previously, Apex Legends update 2.87 added Arenas: Duels, a limited-time 1v1 mode focused on raw gunplay with no abilities until July 15. Unfortunately, since the last Apex patch 2.67, players are still experiencing a number of issues with the game. Today’s Apex patch 3.01 will fix a few of these issues.
