Respawn has released a new Apex Legends update 2.99 for PS4, PC, and Xbox One. According to the official Apex 2.99 patch notes, the latest update focuses on map corrections, visual clarity upgrades for Supersonic Event icons, crash fixes, and improved movement functionality. Today’s Apex Legends version 2.99 also fixes also address Octane challenge tracking, R-301 reload speed alignment, Mad Maggie’s ultimate behavior, and knockdown visual effects.

Previously, Apex Legends update 2.87 added Arenas: Duels, a limited-time 1v1 mode focused on raw gunplay with no abilities until July 15. Unfortunately, since the last Apex patch 2.67, players are still experiencing a number of issues with the game. Today’s Apex patch 2.99 will fix a few of these issues.
