Apex Legends Update 1.79 Patch Notes – August 30, 2021


Respawn has released a new Apex Legends update 1.79 on PS4, PC, and Xbox One players. According to the official Apex Legends 1.79 patch notes, the latest hotfix brings minor changes and fixes to the game. Apart from this, Apex Legends version 1.79 also includes general stability improvements.

Respawn is removing tap strafing from Apex Legends in the next patch 10.1. They say it is “inaccessible” and can’t be countered, and is made worse by Legends with movement abilities.

Previously, a big update added the Aftermarket Collection Event to the game. The event features a new LTM called flashpoint, tons of rewards, a new Caustic Heirloom, and more.


Unfortunately, since the last patch, players are experiencing a number of issues with the game. Today’s Apex Legends version 1.79 will fix a few of these issues.
