According to the official Apex Legends version 1.000.128, the latest update heavily boosts Ballistic, Pathfinder, and Seer while reducing the strength of Axle, Conduit, Mad Maggie, and Valkyrie. Weapon changes target Hemlok dominance, introduce the new Executioner hop-up, and add Turbocharger support for Nemesis. Ranked flow was streamlined and several gameplay, respawn, and weapon bugs were resolved. Today’s Apex patch 1.000.128 also improves map fairness by fixing out-of-bounds issues and Alter exploits, enhances visibility with lighting and bloom adjustments, reduces movement hitches around jump pads and gravity lifts, and resolves banner-related framerate stuttering while refining several audio cues.

Ballistic
- Now respawns with his Sling weapon in all game modes.
- Whistler overheat now affects only one weapon.
- If hit while holding a weapon, only that weapon receives the overheat effect.
- If unarmed, overheat applies to the first weapon slot.
- Overheat no longer decreases when not firing or when swapping weapons.
- Swapping weapons no longer increases overheat.
- Overheat damage increased from 15 to 50.
- Overheat duration increased from 12s to 15s.
- Tactical charges increased from 1 to 2.
- Reduced delay before homing activates.
- Overheat can no longer be reapplied to an already affected target.
- Ultimate now grants a sprint boost to Ballistic and nearby teammates.
- Sprint boost only affects sprinting movement.
Ballistic Upgrades
- Level 2 – Extra Bullet: Grants an additional Tactical charge.
- Level 2 – Trap Mode: Tactical remains for 15s and deals 35 damage when triggered.
- Level 3 – Quiet Time: Replaces overheat with silence and slow effects. Includes a longer cooldown.
- Level 3 – Killing Time: Moved to Level 3 and still extends Ultimate duration by 15s.
Pathfinder
- Now tucks his legs while riding horizontal ziplines.
- Tactical charges increased from 1 to 2.
- Tactical cooldown changed to a flat 20s.
- Zipline Gun projectile speed increased.
- Ultimate cooldown reduced from 3 minutes to 2 minutes.
Pathfinder Upgrades
- Field Research: Grants all Recon class perks.

Seer
- Heartbeat sensor activates faster.

- Ultimate now scans enemies for 2 seconds when deployed.

Axle
- Maximum Tactical devices reduced from 3 to 2.
- Tactical health reduced from 150 to 100.
- Knocked players can no longer slide long distances through Nitro Gate effects.
- Kickstart now launches enemies in an arc based on movement speed at impact.
- Enemy highlight duration slightly reduced.
Axle Upgrades
- Super Slider: No longer grants a second Tactical charge.
- Now reduces Nitro Gate cooldown by 5 seconds and increases max deployed count by 1.
Mad Maggie
- Tactical cooldown increased from 22s to 28s.
- Wrecking Ball speed boost replaced with a sprint-only boost.

- Removed the faster landing improvement while skydiving.
Conduit
- Regen rate reduced from 15/s to 10/s.

- Instant Barrier: Regen duration increased from 4s to 6s.
