According to the official Apex 1.000.098 patch notes, the latest update resolves major issues including crashes in Ranked mode, hop-up compatibility, and UI bugs related to cosmetic offers and pack visuals. Crash Fix: Resolved a crash that occurred when selecting “View Placement” after completing Ranked Placement Matches.

Hop-Up Functionality: Fixed issue where Gun-Shield Generator hop-up did not function properly with the Hemlok rifle.

Title Screen Error: Fixed an error labeled “Encryption protocol violation” that appeared for some players on the loading screen.

Prestige Skins Offers: Fixed an issue where Prestige Skins Offers became greyed out after previewing an offer the player already owned.

Previously, Apex Legends update 2.17 added new features and changes to the game. Recently, Apex version 1.000.081 and Apex version 1.000.082 was also released with minor tweaks.
