Apex Legends Update 1.000.091 Patch Notes for PS5 & XSX

Apex Legends update 1.000.091 is available to download on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official Apex 1.000.091 patch notes, the latest update brings changes for Ash and Ballistic, enhancing their combat effectiveness. Assault Legends now enjoy new perks, including faster reloads and speed boosts. Weapons hit harder, while armor sees a major rework, capping shields at 100 but introducing a new Mythic Helmet. Today’s Apex version 1.000.091 also includes stability fixes.

Previously, Apex Legends update 2.17 added new features and changes to the game. Recently, Apex version 1.000.081and Apex version 1.000.082 was also released with minor tweaks. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing a number of issues with the game. Today’s Apex patch 1.000.091 will fix a few of these issues.

Legend Buffs

Ash Enhancements

  • Arc Snare: More consistent tethering with improved edge detection.
  • Phase Breach (Ultimate): Increased distance, faster travel speed, and improved endpoint targeting.
  • New Passive – Predator’s Pursuit: Grants an omnidirectional short-range dash for better mobility in combat.

Ballistic Upgrades

  • Base Kit Buffs: Extra charge and sling leveling now default.
  • Level 3 Upgrade: Doubles Whistler charges for stronger crowd control.
  • Tempest (Ultimate) Buffs: Now includes a speed boost for faster engagement.
  • Sling Buff: Can now carry crate weapons with infinite ammo when Tempest is active.

Assault Class Perks Update

  • Combat Reserve Perks:
    • Extra ammo per stack.
    • Two grenade-only inventory slots.
    • Access to Red Extended Supply Bins.
    • New: Stowed weapons automatically reload after 2 seconds.
    • New: Breaking an enemy’s shield grants a speed burst, fast reloads, and enemy highlight for 4 seconds.

Weapon & Armor Changes

Weapon Buffs

  • Global adjustments to increase weapon lethality and shorten fight durations.

Armor Adjustments

  • Helmet Streamlining:
    • White, Blue, and Purple helmets removed.
    • New high-value Helmets with unique gameplay perks introduced.
  • Armor Changes:
    • Red Tier (125 shields) no longer accessible via level-ups.
    • Max armor cap is now 100 shields (Level 3).
    • New Mythic Armor Upgrade Helmet introduced for high-tier protection.

Muzzle Flash Reduction

  • Updated all first-person weapon muzzle flashes:
    • 95% reduction in visual noise (sparks, smoke, glows).
    • Smaller flashes, optimized particle effects.
    • Less lingering effects (smoke, sparks, ejects).
    • Reduced lighting flicker on weapons and environment.

Balance Updates

Care Package

  • R-99: Returns to floor loot (details below).
  • Peacekeeper: Added to Care Package (details below).

Gold Weapon Rotation

  • Includes: Alternator, R-99, Wingman, 30-30 Repeater, Rampage LMG.

EVO Armor

  • Max level achievable: Level 3 (Purple Armor).
  • Red Armor removed from leveling.
  • EVO required to reach Level 3: 1700 (up from 1350).

Accelerated Weapons

  • Assists with Accelerated Weapons no longer grant extra 30% ultimate charge in Mixtape modes.

Gameplay Updates

New: Arsenals

  • Stations provide weapons and ammo of choice.
  • Fixed locations across all maps.
  • Ammo type randomizes each match.
  • Enhancing Terminal: Upgrades one weapon matching the ammo type (adds attachment or optic if missing).

Healing

  • Cells: 2.5s (was 3s).
  • Syringes: 4s (was 5s).
  • Stack Size: Cells & Syringes now stack to 6.
  • Starting Items: 4 Cells and 4 Syringes (was 2 each).
  • Increased spawn rates for Batteries and Medkits.

Helmets

  • White, Blue, and Purple helmets removed from loot pool.
  • Players no longer start with a White helmet.

Gold Helmet

  • Reworked into Gold Armor Upgrade Helmet:
    • Doubles healing output of Cells & Syringes.
    • Sets armor to 100 (regardless of level).
    • No headshot damage reduction.
    • Chance to appear in Gold Bins.

New: Mythic Armor Upgrade Helmet

  • Red Tier: Sets armor to 125 (regardless of level).
  • No headshot damage reduction.
  • Appears in Mythic Bins and late-game Care Packages.

Knocked Down State

  • Increased crawl speed (with and without knockdown shield raised).

POI Names on Drop

  • POI names and loot tiers now visible during first drop.
  • Includes Arsenal info to help with drop decisions.

Ammo & Attachments

  • Hop Ups: Hammerpoints removed.
  • Gold Magazines: Reload time while stowed reduced to 2s (was 5s).
  • Optics: 1x Holo removed.
  • Replicator: Ammo reduced to 1 stack per weapon (was 2).

Weapon Adjustments

Assault Rifles (AR)

  • Havoc Rifle (Care Package): Damage increased to 21 (was 18).
  • Hemlok: Damage increased to 20 (was 19).
  • Nemesis: Damage increased to 17 (was 16).
  • R-301: Damage increased to 14 (was 13).
  • Flatline: Damage increased to 19 (was 18).

LMGs

  • Devotion: Damage increased to 16 (was 15).
  • L-STAR: Damage increased to 20 (was 18).
  • Spitfire: Damage increased to 21 (was 19).
  • Rampage: Damage increased to 30 (was 26), revved state decay slowed.

Marksman Rifles

  • 30-30 Repeater: Damage increased (no charge: 43, full charge: 58).
  • Bocek Bow (Care Package): Damage increased to 75 (was 70), fire rate reduced.
  • G7 Scout: Damage increased to 35 (was 33), fire rate reduced.
  • Triple Take: Damage per bullet increased to 22 (was 21).

Pistols

  • P2020: Damage increased to 24 (was 21).
  • RE-45: Damage increased to 14 (was 13).
  • Wingman: Damage increased to 48 (was 45), base mag size reduced to 5.

SMGs

  • Alternator: Damage increased to 18 (was 16).
  • C.A.R.: Damage increased to 14 (was 13), added Laser Sight.
  • Prowler: Damage increased to 16 (was 15).
  • R-99 (Floor Loot): Damage reduced to 13 (was 14), recoil increased.
  • Volt: Damage increased to 16 (was 15).

Shotguns

  • EVA-8: Damage per pellet increased to 8 (was 7), no headshot bonus.
  • Mastiff: Damage per pellet increased to 16 (was 14), no headshot bonus.
  • Mozambique: Damage per pellet increased to 16 (was 15), retains headshot bonus.
  • Peacekeeper (Care Package): Damage per pellet increased to 12 (was 9), choke speed and blast pattern improved.

Snipers

  • Charge Rifle: Limb damage reduced to 70% (was 90%).
  • Kraber: Damage increased to 150 (was 140).
  • Longbow: Limb damage reduced to 70% (was 80%).
  • Sentinel: Limb damage reduced to 70% (was 90%), Deadeye’s Tempo removed.

Legend Updates

Ash

  • Predator’s Pursuit: Added mid-air dash.
  • Arc Snare: Tether plants at projectile impact point, harder to break.
  • Phase Breach: Range increased to 100m (was 76m), travel time reduced.

Ballistic

  • Sling: Upgrades by default, can carry Crate Weapons with infinite ammo during Ult.
  • Whistler: Tac now has 2 charges, Overheat reaction time increased to 1.2s (was 1s).

Crypto

  • EMP: Now destroys Gibraltar’s Dome of Protection.

Loba

  • Ult: Charge reverted to 50% (was buffed temporarily).

Maggie

  • Wrecking Ball: Destroys Gibraltar’s Dome and Newcastle’s Mobile Shield.

Map Rotations

  • Pubs: Kings Canyon, Olympus, Broken Moon.
  • Ranked: Kings Canyon, Olympus, Storm Point.
  • Mixtape: Various maps for TDM, Control, and Gun Run.

New Modes

  • Mythic Mayhem Royale (Feb 11-Mar 3): Rampart’s experimental Care Packages with Mythic R-301 variants.
  • Redemption Trios & Duos (Feb 25-Mar 3): Respawn Tokens allow immediate respawns.
  • Relic Weapons Trios & Duos (Mar 4-10): Fully kitted Gold and Mythic weapons.
  • Three Strikes Mystery Legends (Mar 11-24): Random Legends on respawn, EVO upgrades maintained.

  • New Challenges: Unlock Ranked by completing challenges (Level 20 minimum still required).
