Apex Legends update 1.000.087 is available to download on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official Apex 1.000.087 patch notes, the latest update resolves a Ring exploit, updates a Rift Relic challenge, and applies shield damage clutter fixes to consoles. Today’s Apex version 1.000.087 also fixes visual bugs for Ice Cold R-301 and Ice Beam Charge Rifle.
Previously, Apex Legends update 2.17 added new features and changes to the game. Recently, Apex version 1.000.081and Apex version 1.000.082 was also released with minor tweaks. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing a number of issues with the game. Today’s Apex patch 1.000.087 will fix a few of these issues.

Bug Fixes
- Resolved a visual issue with the Ice Cold R-301 weapon skin.
- Fixed a problem where the Ice Beam Charge Rifle skin displayed the wrong model in 3rd person view.
- Fixed an exploit that allowed players to abuse Revive Expert and Heal Expert perks to survive outside the Ring.
- The “Equip Hover” Rift Relic Challenge is now updated to “5 Kills With a Rift Relic Weapon” for better clarity.
- Shield damage visual clutter fix has now been extended to console platforms for consistency.
