Apex Legends update 1.000.122 fixes several character visual and audio problems, strengthen Switch 2 stability, and refine matchmaking to create tighter competition at higher skill levels. Today’s Apex patch 1.000.122 also fixes crashes and online connections stability issues.

Online and System Improvements
- Network connection reliability has been improved
- Additional minor gameplay and system tweaks implemented
Bug Fixes
- Catalyst’s Toxic Empress outfit now displays the correct glow effects while in-game
- Valkyrie’s jetpack grips no longer disappear under certain conditions
- Fuse’s Knuckle Cluster equipment holder now shows properly
- Wattson players will no longer hear Hardlight rebuild and destruction sounds triggered by ability placement inside the ring
- System reliability improved for Nintendo Switch 2 gameplay sessions 🚀
Matchmaking Changes
- Maximum queue times slightly increased for high-skill players in Ranked and public matches to improve match balance
- Drop Zone Ranked now presents rank distribution based on full squads, matching the format used in standard lobbies
Other Changes
- Reactive skins now operate properly both inside and outside the firing range
- Wraith tactical ability no longer prevents damage from Gibraltar’s defensive dome
- Cloaked Wraith is no longer stunned by Gibraltar’s electrified dome effect
- Bot Royale Evolved matches on E-District now launch correctly
- Wildcard event notifications now display correctly across all supported languages
- “Energy Efficient” Wild Card has been restored to rotation
- Various game crash scenarios have been corrected
- General stability problems have been addressed
Weapon Adjustments
- Hemlok recoil increased horizontally and vertically
- Hemlok hipfire accuracy reduced through wider spread
Ability and Equipment Changes
- Vortex Shield can no longer capture the following projectiles:
- Bangalore tactical ability
- Bangalore ultimate ability
- Catalyst tactical ability
- Caustic ultimate ability
- Gibraltar ultimate ability
- Sparrow tactical ability
Previously, Apex Legends update 3.03 added Hardlight Mesh for breach-and-clear combat, major reworks for Fuse, Catalyst, and Bloodhound, shotgun buffs and marksman nerfs, backpack/knockdown shield overhaul, Ranked matchmaking adjustments, new Wildcard rotation, and a fully expanded Bot Royale Evolved mode. Unfortunately, players are still having issues with the game. Today’s Apex patch 1.000.122 will fix a few of these issues.
