Respawn has released a new Apex Legends update 1.000.053 on PS5. According to the official Apex Legends 1.000.053 patch notes, the latest update resolves an issue where Wraith can use weapons while knocked. Apart from this, today’s Apex version 1.000.053 also addressed the brightness on World’s Edge.
Previously, Apex Legends update 2.17 added new features and changes to the game. Recently, Apex version 2.18 and Apex version 2.20 was also released with minor tweaks. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing a number of issues with the game. Today’s Apex patch 1.000.053 will fix a few of these issues.

Apex Legends 1.000.053 Patch Notes
- Names no longer incorrectly appear when in Anonymous mode
- Deaths outside the Ring now show in the kill feed
- Quips now display subtitles when selected in Banner menus
- Sound effects for Ash select animations
- Addressed a bug where button prompts may not appear on summary/death screen, including report button – but buttons still work.
- [Control] Addressed a bug where players are occasionally unable to spawn on any captured zones, besides the Dropship zone.
- Added stability fixes.
- Added gameplay performance improvements.
- Wraith can no longer use weapons while knocked.
- Brightness on World’s Edge has been adjusted.
- Seer can no longer track through Dark Veil with his ultimate (the team is reviewing other abilities as well).
