Respawn has released a new Apex Legends update 3.08 for PS4, PC, and Xbox One. According to the official Apex 3.08 patch notes, the latest update focuses on correcting ability interactions, tightening Hemlok weapon balance, restoring event functionality, and improving match stability. Today’s Apex Legends version 3.08 also fixes crashes and online connections stability issues.

ADJUSTED:

Increased maximum queue times slightly for players at the higher end of Ranked and pubs. Our goal is tighter skill bands and more competitive games across the board.

For Drop Zone Ranked matches, we will be displaying Ranked tier distribution charts of squads, not individual players consistent with non-Drop Zone lobbies.
Other Changes
- Reactive skins now operate properly both inside and outside the firing range
- Wraith tactical ability no longer prevents damage from Gibraltar’s defensive dome
- Cloaked Wraith is no longer stunned by Gibraltar’s electrified dome effect
- Bot Royale Evolved matches on E-District now launch correctly
- Wildcard event notifications now display correctly across all supported languages
- “Energy Efficient” Wild Card has been restored to rotation
- Various game crash scenarios have been corrected
- General stability problems have been addressed
Weapon Adjustments
- Hemlok recoil increased horizontally and vertically
- Hemlok hipfire accuracy reduced through wider spread
Ability and Equipment Changes
- Vortex Shield can no longer capture the following projectiles:
- Bangalore tactical ability
- Bangalore ultimate ability
- Catalyst tactical ability
- Caustic ultimate ability
- Gibraltar ultimate ability
- Sparrow tactical ability
Online and System Improvements
- Network connection reliability has been improved
- Additional minor gameplay and system tweaks implemented
Previously, Apex Legends update 2.87 added Arenas: Duels, a limited-time 1v1 mode focused on raw gunplay with no abilities until July 15. Unfortunately, since the last Apex patch 2.67, players are still experiencing a number of issues with the game. Today’s Apex patch 3.08 will fix a few of these issues.
