Alien Swarm May 25 Update Patch Notes (Reactive Drop)

A new Alien Swarm Reactive Drop update is available to download on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and PC (Steam). According to the official Alien Swarm patch notes, the latest update added various tweaks and changes.

Previously, a major update added two newly remastered community campaigns, some long-awaited weapon tweaks, updated translations, and plenty of other changes.

Unfortunetly, players are facing several gameplay issues. Today’s Alien Swarm version will fix a few of these issues. Read more details below.

Misc

  • Fixed ping icons in the lobby browser always being gray.
  • Fixed Aim To Movement in controller settings having a broken middle option.
  • Fixed demos failing to play due to a network table incompatibility (this will not fix old demos, unfortunately).
  • Fixed HoIAF points not being awarded on participating servers. (This fix went out yesterday.)

Mapping

  • Added point_broadcastclientcommand to the FGD.
