Alan Wake 2 update 1.000.010 is available to download on PS5 and Xbox. According to the official Alan Wake 2 1.000.010 patch notes, the latest update includes 100+ fixes. Apart from this, the Alan Wake 2 version 1.000.010 also addressed critical issues blocking progress in the Scratch (A New Plan) mission and misbehaving in the Espresso Express in Local Girl (Coffee World).
Unfortunetly, since the Alan Wake update 1.08 added quality-of-life changes. Alan Wake 2 patch 1.0.10 will address a few of these issues. More tweaks and changes are expected with Alan Wake 2 update 1.000.011.

Alan Wake 2 Update 1.000.010 Patch Notes – November 9, 2023
Overall Fixes:
- Fixed various general bugs and improved the game’s polish.
- Solved issues with translations in multiple languages.
- Corrected visual glitches in some cutscenes.
- Made the Taken Diver enemy tougher.
- Included some missing German and Spanish voiceovers.
- Increased the number of ammo and health drops in the Cynthia boss fight.
- Adjusted the Nightingale boss fight to enhance weapon effectiveness for players.
- Made sure the HDR setting in the brightness menu works correctly.
- Tutorial prompts will now show up only where they should.
- Weather effects are fixed – no more indoor rain.
- Reduced the intensity of the visual effect when health is low.
- Resolved a camera issue in the weapon upgrade screen.
- Fixed the problem with Alex Casey characters posing incorrectly.
- Ensured all radio shows are now playable.
- Removed blockages caused by misplaced objects.

Xbox Series:
- Addressed missing or interrupted audio issues.
PlayStation 5:
- Resolved crashes related to using Share Play.
- Fixed audio issues near the game’s end.
Mission-Specific Fixes:
INVITATION:
- Fixed a progression block after talking to Casey post-autopsy.
- Nightingale won’t get stuck in the environment anymore.
CASEY:
- Made escaping through the subway door easier, with less button mashing required.
LOCAL GIRL:
- Improved the Coffee World experience and fixed missing items and obstructions.
- Ensured the Kalevala workshop clue appears at the right time.
- Made a hidden Manuscript page easier to find.
WE SING:
- The cursor will now display correctly during the mission.
OLD GODS:
- Resolved issues with key items not appearing and calls not triggering properly.
- Fixed a problem with re-entering the Overlap after dying.
- Made sure the option to Profile Cynthia doesn’t disappear after loading a save.
ROOM 665:
- Addressed a bug where players could get stuck in the Break Room.
- The Echo will respawn if the player doesn’t finish watching the video.
SCRATCH:
- Fixed a conversation issue with FBC agent Estevez.
- Saga won’t get lost after a critical point in the game.
- Fixed a block in progress when switching cases.
ZANE’S FILM:
- Tim Breaker’s map will now correctly indicate the Word of Power location.
