Age of Water Update Patch Notes – May 26, 2024

Age of Water update is now available to download on PC (Steam). According to the official Age of Water patch notes, the latest update introduces several changes aimed at enhancing gameplay experience, including disabling shot splash effects from friendly and neutral boats, increasing explosives yield, revising resource extraction point positions, fixing bugs related to lost cargo chests and quest logs, and improving various gameplay mechanics. Apart from this, Age of Water patch also includes stability fixes.

Previously, a big update was released with new Maps, Spectator chat is now activated, and lots ofbug fixes.Unfortunately, many players are still experiencing several issues while playing the game.

Today’s Age of Water patch will fix a few of these issues.

Age of Water Patch Notes – May 26, 2024

  • Shot splash effect from friendly and neutral boats has been disabled to counteract intentional capsizing.
  • Explosives yield has been increased.
  • The positions of resource extraction points have been revised so that the streams do not pass through them.
  • A bug that could cause a player’s lost cargo chest to go missing has been fixed.
  • In the quest log, new quests are now always displayed at the top of the list, so you don’t miss anything important.
  • Sudden bouncing of the ship at high speed has been fixed.
  • Occasions where the crew refused to pump out water should not happen anymore.
  • Changed the cost of repairing pumps.
  • You can now skip the repair and resource exchange offer when entering the base (in the game settings).
  • Improved the display of quest markers for the Hakke’s Caches quest
  • Map settings are now saved between game sessions.
  • Added missing tooltip for the icon displaying the color differentiation of the danger level in the map window.
  • Added selection of zoom options to settings.
  • Added additional lines in localizations.
