A Plague Tale update 1.09 is now available to download on PS4, PS5, and Xbox One. According to the official A Plague Tale Innocence patch notes, the latest update added support for next-gen consoles (4k and 60 FPS). Apart from this, A Plague Tale version 1.09 also includes Switch Cloud fixes and more.
Players who owns the game on Xbox One and PS4 can upgrade for free.

The next generation version features:
- Added support for 4K UHD gameplay (on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5)
- Added 60 FPS mode
- 3D audio support also added
- Play A Plague Tale: Innocence in Cloud versionusing Nintendo’s Cloud Streaming technology.
- Various other minor tweaks and fixes.
