Path of Titans Patch 1.37 Notes (Version 1.37) for PS4, PC & Xbox

Path of Titans patch 1.37 is rolling out on PS4, PC, Mobile, and PS5(Version 1.037.000). According to the official Path of Titans patch notes, the latest update added a long list quality of life changes and fixes. Apart from this, today’s Path of Titans update 1.37 also addressed performance improvements.

Previously, a major Patch of Titans update 1.16 added various mod fixes and other changes. Recently, a hotfix was also released. Unfortunately, players are facing various bugs and issues with the game. Today’s Path of Titans version 1.37 will address a few of these issues.

Bug Fixes and Improvements

Logging out on Burrows Bug Fix

  • Fixed a bug where logging out on Burrows could occasionally teleport players.

Character Select Screen Preview Dino Growth

  • The preview dino when editing a character in the character select screen is now fully grown.

Thirst Heal from Melons

  • Melons now apply thirst heal when swallowed.

Interaction Prompts Modifier Key Icons

  • Fixed interaction prompts not showing modifier key icons (ctrl, shift, etc.).

Character UI Adjustments

  • Adjusted UI to dynamically fit character name on character select screen and character.

Lag Fix for Animated Emotes in Chat

  • Fixed lag from spamming animated emotes in chat.

Controller Shortcut Key Changes

  • Controller: Changed shortcut key for Party Search to Left Thumbstick as it conflicted with Exit Instance.
  • Added gamepad shortcut for Home Cave Decor Purchase button.

Swim/Fly Down Unbinding

  • Swim down/Fly down is now unbindable in Controls Settings menu.

Handling of Dinosaurs Walking Over Unloaded Terrain

  • Added better handling of dinosaurs walking over unloaded terrain.
  • The player’s dino will now unload and wait for their device to load the terrain before loading back in, similar to logging out and back in.
  • This is intended to prevent players with weaker devices running into gameplay issues if their device is still loading.

Character Edit Screen Textbox Fix

  • Fixed a textbox appearing on screen for a few frames when opening the in-game character edit screen.

Character Name Display Fix

  • Fixed names containing a hyphen causing the name to wrap around in the character tile on the character list.

Gender/Subspecies Change Cooldown and Confirmation

  • Changing gender or subspecies will cause shedding to occur, adding the 5 min cooldown.
  • Updated confirmation for character edit to mention the growth penalty when changing gender or subspecies.

Random Color Button in Character Edit Screen and Store UI

  • Added a Random Color Button to the Character Edit screen: a dice button that will randomize colors of a Dino under the selected skin.
  • The button is only available if the second tier or higher of colors is unlocked for the currently selected skin.
  • Currently selected color in Character Edit screen will now remain highlighted when switching colors and color options.
  • Added Random Color Button to the Store UI.

Character Creation Screen Fixes

  • Fixed small/hatchling dinosaurs occasionally floating or tilting on the character creation screen.

Dinosaur Auto-Collecting Items Fix

  • Fixed dinos auto-collecting items after changing the collection input binding in settings.

Dinosaur Heads Follow Camera while Swallowing

  • Dinosaur heads now follow the camera while swallowing.

Multiplayer Notifications for Newly Available Items/Skins

  • Newly available for purchase ability and skin notifications should now appear in Multiplayer.

Auto-Running with Sprint/Trot for Dinosaurs

  • Holding sprint while auto-running now brings dinosaurs to a trot.

Faster Loading of Caves

  • Fixed caves not loading fast enough when spinning the camera quickly, causing small pop-in.

Singleplayer Announcements

  • Added a check to allow Singleplayer users to make announcements in their own game.

Crash Fixes and Stability Improvements

Mobile Quest Button Position

  • Updated mobile quest button position and default position.

Mobile HUD Editor Bug Fix

  • Fix for a bug where the button tray was visible even when closed in the Mobile HUD editor.

Camera Invert Settings Fix

  • Fixed Camera Invert settings not applying correctly on mobile.

Virtual Keyboard Input Fix

  • Inputs will no longer become stuck after opening virtual keyboards.

In-Game Downloader Notice for Download Size

  • The in-game downloader will now show a notice/permission prompt letting the user know how big the download will be before it starts.

Transition to BattlEye

  • Path of Titans has moved to using BattlEye Anti Cheat instead of EAC (Easy Anti Cheat).

Quest System Enhancements

Quest UI Display Improvement

  • Adjusted quest UI to display quest home cave decoration rewards.

Waystone Restore Delivery Range Update

  • Updated Waystone Restore Delivery Ranges.

Quest Reward Saving Fix

  • Fixed quest reward so that it saves correctly when logging out and back in.

Auto-Close of Quest Menu

  • The quest menu will now automatically close if the player gets hit by an attack.

Collect All Button in Quest UI

  • Added a “collect all” button to the Quest UI.

Default Quest Collect Update

  • The Default Quest Collect now checks if there are any home cave rewards on top of being a tutorial quest.

Feed Group Member Quest

  • Implemented Feed Group Member Quest.
  • The quest works similarly to the find and eat food quest but for groups.
  • The group is prompted to find food for the hungry group member and will earn a Marks reward when they are fed.

Server Hosting Settings Update

  • Server hosting settings UI now has a setting to enable/disable/adjust the reward cap.

Bonus Reward Chance Check

  • Quests now check for the chance of a bonus reward before adding it to unclaimed rewards.

Combat

Combat System Enhancements

Area-of-Effect (AoE) Attacks

  • New: AoE Attacks.
  • Implemented Area-of-Effect attacks, which will hit any enemies within a radius around you.
  • This is implemented on various stomp attacks, such as for Albertaceratops and Amargasaurus.
  • With this feature, your dinosaur’s feet no longer have to hit your target in order to damage them, making aiming these attacks much easier and more intuitive.

Stamina Changes

  • New: Stamina Changes.
  • We have adjusted stamina values for most creatures.
  • We have now adjusted stamina values for all creatures so they are even across the board, but certain dinosaurs drain their stamina faster depending on their playstyle, attacks, running speeds, and regeneration rates.
  • This change ensures that venom is now much more consistent across all creatures, which will make creatures that rely on venom, like Metriacanthosaurus and Megalania, have a much better time hunting their prey.

Adjustments to Bleed, Venom, and Bone Break

  • New: Adjustments to Bleed, Venom, and Bone Break.
  • We have made some changes to the way other status effects affect creatures.
  • Previously, the weight of a dinosaur played a large role in determining how much bone break, venom, and bleed damage was inflicted on a defending dinosaur.
  • We have adjusted this value so status effects are now more consistent across all creatures.
  • This means creatures that can inflict status effects can now better rely on their abilities to tackle larger, heavier opponents.

Homecave Changes

  • Disabled Bleed and Venom damage in Homecave.
  • Stamina no longer drains in Homecaves.

Jumping and Charge Attack Adjustments

  • Jumping rapidly now drains stamina less quickly for all dinosaurs.
  • Adjusted the jump costs for all dinosaurs.
  • Fixed charge attacks occasionally not working after they are canceled.

Swallowing and Rotation Fix

  • Fixed issue where player could not rotate with precise movement while swallowing a chunkof meat.

Debuff Persistence Fix

  • Fixed issue where debuffs would linger after a player died, maintaining buffs for dinosaurs with certain passives.

Dive Ability Text Fix

  • Adjusted text for dive ability to be accurate to ability’s effect.

Kick Attacks Description Fix

  • Fixed description of kick attacks.

Ability Adjustments

  • Tough Scutes ability (for all creatures who have this ability): changed armor increase to 15% from 25%.
  • Lightweight Scales ability: Removed armor debuff. Changed turn debuff to 25% from 40% (for creatures who have this debuff with this hide option).

Generic Ability Slot Fix

  • Fixed issues with the Generic Ability Slot (often used by modded creatures) causing unintended behavior.
  • However, base game creatures do not currently use the Generic ability slot.

Ability Icons Update

  • Updated ability icons: Resilient Scales, Leap, Dense Feathers, Strong Flippers, Death Rattle, Gripping Claws, Balanced Tail, Breach, Tyrant Roar.

Stamina Cost for Fast Flying

  • Added a “Fast Flying” stamina cost.
  • Fast flying and regular flying are calculated separately now.
  • This means when creatures are flying slowly, they will drain less stamina compared to flying fast.

  • Added Hiss ability.

Jaw Clipping Fix

  • Fixed Latenivenatrix lower jaw clipping when placing items down.

Raptor Bark Ability Adjustments

  • Reduced Raptor Bark ability stamina usage.
  • Increased damage of Raptor Bark ability to 5%.

Jump Animation Improvement

  • Improved Metriacanthosaurus jump animations.

Charged Bite Cooldown Increase

  • Increased Ceratosaurus Charged Bite cooldown to 5 seconds.

Leap Reduction for Fall Damage

  • Reduced Leap for Ceratosaurus to reduce fall damage by 20%.

Lightweight Scales Hide Fix

  • Fixed Cerato lightweight scales hide reducing turn radius.

Megalania

Viper Strikes Ability

  • Added Viper Strikes ability.

Toxic Immunity Hide Adjustment

  • Removed incoming damage increase for Megalania Toxic Immunity hide.

Leap Reduction for Fall Damage

  • Reduced Leap for Megalania to reduce fall damage by 20%.

Fish Catching Fix

  • Fixed not being able to catch fish with Megalania Venom Bite.

Venom Bite Sound Fix

  • Fixed Megalania Venom Bite not having sound.

Venom Bite Cooldown Increase

  • Increased Venom Bite cooldown to 10 seconds.

Second Bite Slot Addition

  • Added a second bite slot for Megalania unlocked at Adolescent growth stage.
