T-Mobile is now rolling out a new software update for BLU R1 HD smartphone. The firmware version BLU_R0010UU_V8.3_GENERIC_6.0_20170414-2043 brings a couple of new features to the device.
The new update installs the latest Android security patch. Another major feature added by the update is the VoLTE support for T-Mobile users of BLU R1 HD.
The update size is around 333.47 MB, the update is being rolled out over the air as we speak. As such, it may take a while to reach your device. If waiting is not your thing, you can manually check for the update by heading to Settings > About device > System updates.
Before hitting the download button, ensure that your BLU R1 HD is at least 50 percent charged and connected to a WiFi network for seamless installation.
