Minecraft update 1.85 for PS4 is now rolling out for players. According to the official Minecraft 1.85 patch notes, the new update has added various bug fixes and gameplay improvements. Apart from this, the Minecraft version 1.85 also includes stability and performance improvements.
A previous update was released which added the Nightmare before Christmas Mash-Up Pack, the Holiday Update, six new Trophies to acquire and much more.. Unfortunately, since the last update, many players were experiencing a number of issues when trying to play the game. Today’s Minecraft PS4 1.85 update is expected to fix all these issues.

- Fix for a Crash when loading older worlds.
- Minecraft update 1.85 added a fix for Large Chests appearing as two Chests during Multiplayer regular gameplay.
- Fix for MCCE #8573 – Double Chests can still be opened if partially “blocked”.
- Fix for Bamboo not replacing Tall Grass and Double Tall Grass.
- Minecraft 1.85 added a fix for Missing Recipe: Lapis Block to 9 Lapis Lazuli.
- Fix for Missing Recipe: Rose Bush to Rose Red Dye.
